Souvenirs: Seven instruments: a "Drumpet" (a drum combined with a trumpet), a harmonica, a bottle, a cymbal, a double bass, an electric guitar, and a xylophone
The bird in the Sky Room references the John Lennon song "Imagine" when he says, "There's no ground, only sky."
This is the only episode that doesn't feature the long end credits.
Shane broke the fourth wall for the first time on this show that's based around the story and not just looking at and talking to the viewer when he said, "That's the best idea you've had in sixteen and a half minutes!" to David. He says this line at 16:51.
The scene before Shane and David find the marching band around 17 minutes, they literally threw the script away and the crew was waiting around while they improvised a whole new scene.
Shane and David's actors were on roller chairs to film the Sky Room scene.
The bird with the John Lennon accent is not the only one who joins the real marching band because he is very busy and lives in the Sky Room. He said that he'll see Shane and David at the reunion tour, but he was just joking. He guesses that he won't.
Shane and David got so sunburnt while filming this episode and the producer was NOT happy.
