David is a main character in The Upside Down Show. He was played by comedian David Collins. DescriptionDavid is the laid-back brother of Shane. He has an optimistic outlook on life and loves to imagine, fostering a humorous approach to problem-solving and modeling a "think-outside-of-the-box" attitude. At the beginning of each episode, he introduces himself and Shane to the viewers, then gives them an imaginary remote control that (in David's words) "does heaps of cool things." David loves the Schmuzzies and acts as their good friend, translator, and mentor. He carries a Schmuzzish-English dictionary with him at all times and says that he studied Schmuzzish part-time for seven years. David has super-sensitive hearing, only functional when he holds his hand up to his ear and makes a "do-do-do-do" sound effect at the same time. He says that his hearing is so good, he can hear cats in China. He has a number of invisible pets, such as a cow named Clarabelle, a hippo, and a pig. He has a habit of accidentally leaving these pets in front of the door. David's only non-invisible pet is Spot the Chair, a blue chair that can sit, stay, and even roll over (with the help of the "rotate" button). LooksDavid has light skin and curly brown hair. He wears a blue, brown and white striped polo shirt, tan cargo shorts and a pair of converse sneakers. AppearancesDavid appears in every episode of The Upside Down Show. His first appearance was in "Movie Theater" and his last appearance was in "Mini Golf." Trivia
